Pure Anzac - 4 days
Starts: 23rd April. Straight to the point our 4 day tour offers 3 - 4 star accommodation and is ideal for those who are short on time and just want to get down to ANZAC Cove for a slice of the action.
Day 1: 23 April - Istanbul
Saturday 23rd April 2011. Welcome to Turkey and your ANZAC experience! Choice of shuttle transfers to hotel. Rest of the day free in Istanbul – a city where the east meets west. This evening go along with your tour organiser for a drink in the bar, a great way to break the ice and meet fellow travellers.
Overnight - Istanbul
Day 2: Gallipoli
Istanbul - Gallipoli. Early this morning we drive to Gallipoli. En route to the Peninsular we'll stop for a bite to eat, stretch our legs and stock up on supplies for the evening ahead. Arriving at the Dawn Service site by 1pm, the afternoon is free for you to explore the many memorials, battlefields and trenches. Now is the ideal time to sort a vantage spot on the grass or tiered seating, then take in the loaded atmosphere as the legendary wait for first light commences. Overnight - Dawn Service site (ANZAC Cove) (B)

Day 3: ANZAC Day - Gallipoli
First light heralds the Dawn Service, then you’ll have loads of time to independently explore the many trenches and memorial sites as you make your way up to Lone Pine or Chunuk Bair for the Australian or New Zealand National services. The service at Chunuk Bair usually starts about an hour after the Australian service at Lone Pine. If you’re a Kiwi, head straight to Chunuk Bair. It’s a good walk uphill and you’ll be struggling to view both services. Later this afternoon, we’ll journey back to Istanbul by coach, arriving late in the evening. (Timing on 25 April subject to coach traffic) Overnight - Istanbul
Day 4: 26 April - Istanbul
Tuesday 26th April 2011. After breakfast (9:00am), your welcome to join us on a 2 hour cruise along the Bosphorus, the strait that divides European from Asian Istanbul. Returning to the hotel before 12noon, hotel check-out. This marks the end of a memorable 4 day ANZAC experience.

Anzac Day at Gallipoli Cove was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. The dawn service was one of the most moving occasions I have ever been a part of. I highly recommend all Aussies and Kiwi's must experience this. And to make sure you really get a good experience book with on the go, you guys are incredible and did such a good job. The organisation was above and beyond. Thanks again.

I would like to say what a great time myself and Julie had on our recent trip to Gallipoli for ANZAC day. We couldn't have expected the trip to go any smoother and this was in no doubt due to the committed efforts of Andy. He was a fantastic guide, always friendly, enthusiastic and willing to help out with any query. He is a real credit to your company.
Once again, fantastic trip, and we wouldn't hesitate to use On the Go again. Well done.
Veronica Collins, Apr 2009
The tour was AWESOME and I'll be booking Croatia with you ASAP. The tour leader was brilliant. I thought the hotel was excellent, the coach was very comfortable and that the tour was excellent value for money.
Liz Burt, Apr 2009
I appreciated getting to The Cove early to stake out a spot and make the most of the time to explore the various areas of the Cove. Well done, especially on the speedy get away at the end.
