Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Day 3: Cairo

Day at leisure to explore Cairo on your own. Overnight - Mena House Oberoi

Day 4: Cairo - Alexandria

This morning you will drive to Alexandria on the Mediterranean Coast you will enjoy a full days sightseeing. Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria boasts wonderful beaches and an impressive seafront corniche, along which are dotted cafes and restaurants, as well as catacombs, souks and relics from a bygone age. Day 5: Alexandria

Day at leisure to explore Alexandria on your own. Overnight - Helnan Palestine Hotel

Day 6: Alexandria - Aswan

Morning at leisure. Later we transfer you back to Cairo and to the train station for you to board your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Overnight - Helnan Palestine Hotel

Day 7: Aswan

Arrival into Aswan we will collect you and transfer you to your hotel. Today we visit High Dam and Philae temple. Later, free time to perhaps do some shopping in the colourful souks and markets or simply relax in this attractive town which straddles the River Nile. Overnight - Sleeper Train

Day 8: Aswan

This morning you have the air excursion to Abu simbel for a sightseeing trip to remember!! You will be guided and also enjoy free time. Afterward fly back to Aswan. When you arrive into Aswan you will be transferred to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight - Movenpick

Day 9: Aswan - Nile Cruising

Today after hotel check out we transfer you to your Nile Cruise boat where you spend the next 4 nights. Sightseeing is included by the cruise company. Overnight - Movenpick

Day 10: Nile Cruising

Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. Sail to Edfu. Overnight - Deluxe Cruise
