Tel Aviv Pride Parade

Tel Aviv Pride Parade

Thousands go to Tel Aviv every year to celebrate sexual freedom, tolerance, and the city’s ambition to be the most gay-friendly place on the planet.

In 2011, organisers estimated that 100 000 Israelis plus 5000 tourists took part in the Pride Parade, which ends with a huge party on Gordon Beach. In contrast to many other parts of Israel, Tel Aviv is liberal, hedonistic and secular, with far more bars than synagogues. If you’re up for a party, head to Pride Parade in Tel Aviv. 2011's parade took place on the 10th of June. Dates for 2012 TBA.
