St Petersburg Sailing Week

Sailing in St Petersburg has a long and proud tradition, with competitive sailing in St Petersburg dating back to the 19th century. The last week of August sees this tradition revived each year for the St Petersburg Sailing Week.

Hundreds of yachts sail from Vyborg to St Petersburg in late August each year. Vessels of all shapes and sizes also take part in other races in the region, uniting generations of seamen and introducing the sport to newcomers too.
