The Perseids meteor shower is a spectacular celestial light show, that has mystified and amazed sky watchers for nearly 2000 years. At its peak, between the 8th and 14th August, the night sky is lit up by often over 60 meteors per hour, streaking across the darkness. Join one of our Meteor Shower tours and witness the incredible Perseids Meteor shower from our desert camp in Wadi Rum. You will spend two incredible nights star-gazing, when the meteor shower is at its peak on the 12th and 13th August.
Get off the beaten track and back to nature on our Petra Trek. Trek through the beautiful Dana National Reserve, which offers a dizzying array of resident flora and fauna and is a natural habitat to various kinds of eagles, kestrels, falcons, wildcats, hyenas, foxes, badgers, jackals and wolves. Yoga in Jordan - 8 days
For a truly unique experience, combine a classic sightseeing tour of Jordan including the spectacular Rose City of Petra, with yoga classes set against some of Jordan’s most magnificent landscapes. There will be yoga under the stars of the Wadi Rum red desert, yoga on the banks of the Dead Sea and a class in Jordan’s premier nature reserve. Classes lead by qualified instructor Florence Lefebvre follow the Vinyasa Flow style of yoga, which is a dynamic discipline derived from Ashtanga. Morning and evening sessions have been planned leaving the rest of our time free to explore this enchanting land.
