Time Travel in Egypt

Posted By Samantha | 26th Aug 2010

Would you like to travel back in time? Well, unless you’re Marty McFly from 'Back to the Future, and have a Delorian with a souped up flux capacitor, you might be out of luck. Alternatively, you could try Egypt.

My recent travels took me to Egypt where it seems you’re in another age. Ancient ruins, desert landscapes and camel-riding makes you feel like you’ve stepped out of a time machine and you find yourself in awe on how the locals are able to manage their lives without the complicated gadgets we all possess in the western world. To see, touch and even climb the ancient ruins which I'd only seen in books and encyclopaedias was an experience I will always cherish. Thank you On The Go, you made my journey pleasant and memorable at the same time.
