What's on the menu in Turkey?

Posted By Sam | 29th Sep 2010

Huge bags of spices, nuts & pulses almost filled to overflowing. Soft cheeses in large briney vats, baskets filled with freshly picked tomatoes, Turkish delight, dried fruits, the list goes on. I wander around trying to choose what to take on the long bus journey to come. It is all so tempting, so difficult to choose - could I have some of each?
Finally, I have made my decision and retire to the cafe out front which is busy to overflowing. I order more great food – Pide (Turkish Pizza) and a drink....Memories of Turkey – food glorious food.
